Getting big Clear Soul Forces vibes here. Lots of Golden Age rap shoutouts in the lyrics and a very late 90's Dilla vibe to the beat. Great track!

thanks for listening

Has a nostalgic feeling to it. That hit of the new synth at :49 is nice but gets muddled by :54 and continues to be muddled until 1:54. I still think there's a lot of potential here and look forward to your next song.

3V3FD responds:

Thank you! I see all that and can definitely get rectified if I could find my project file! Mixing maybe got messed with when exporting because as it sounded balanced in FL itself!

Super relaxing. Perfect track to unwind or casually get some work done. Gonna have to check out some more of your stuff.

Fluubah responds:

Thanks!! If you like the calmer lofi, I think you’d like the stuff on my YouTube (https://youtube.com/channel/UCDAJEq_9urpmlJLD8pS-UFg) or Spotify (https://open.spotify.com/artist/1YJcxxp8ROchnQIl9Ijc3L?si=7F-rV8EaQXyEDAwaZtjF8g) :)
The stuff on my newgrounds is much more experimental and not really calming

I see the sewerslvt tag and totally understand why, very similar sound to those in-your-face aggressive breaks. I have to say I'm partial to the first minute more than the rest but I still very much so enjoyed the other 4:30. Look forward to more tracks.

I think you've set the scene perfectly. Pico and the gang smoking on the stoop vibing to some beats is perfect for this. Such a smooth and funky little jam. Love it!

Gives me a couple different vibes. The most noticeable vibe is somewhere between a Gamecube game and a song in Professor Layton.

The funkiness from the beginning until 1:36 gives me a Stevie Wonder or Quincy Jones vibe. I get that same vibe from 2:38 until the end of the song.

Whatever that unique noise from 1:04 to 1:20 and again from 3:08 to 3:39 is gives me a Raspberry Beret by Prince type sound. Especially the first time it appears.

Overall I found the whole track very pleasing from start to finish. Great track!

Will responds:

Thank you Atlas! You know I love being compared to ALL those things.

A superbly done trap beat! The strings were certainly not what I expected, but they flowed perfectly with the track. Some of the breaks in the song weren't my favorite, but it was a minor issue to me. Overall a pretty good track. Keep up the good work!

MrSecuPupps responds:

Thank you so much for your feedback!! Sorry for responding so late. :P
I didn't check on this, but yes, I appreciate your feedback, thank you so much! :D

I don't understand how your work gets low scores. The light kick and nice hi-hats add a nice layer to the song. I also love how the drums as a whole pan in and out. It really gives the piano some time to shine throughout the song. Nice fade out at the end. Great song!

KingSandy responds:

cause people on this site all they care about is porn and shitty hiphop ..but me im probably the best beatmaker on here at least for hiphop ..also it took me 4 years to even reach 100 foloowers on this site lol

This has that perfect blend between jazz and hip-hop. The piano makes me feel like I'm walking through Paris at night, yet the drumbeat tells me I'm in New York during the golden age of rap. The part from 2:07 until the end reminds me of a jazz loop reminiscent of an early Madlib track. Great work!

KingSandy responds:

im glad you enjoyed it

The drums are simple yet set a tone. I love the lack of snare and just a bit of rim to keep the song quiet and peaceful. The piano is repetitive yet when it ends briefly yet elegantly at 1:33 I find myself missing it right until it comes back. The ending sounds like my radio just stopped working halfway. I love it. Great song!

I would tell you about me but it's classified.
