You never fail to give me the heebie-jeebies. The unnerving feeling from the music throughout is fantastic. The VHS tint to everything is equally fantastic. The cardboard messages around five minutes in were frightening and a great transition to the mirror scene. I also can't help but look at the human in the short as a mix of Travis Bickle and Paul Dano's Riddler. Overall this short will have me looking over my shoulder for the next few hours. Loved it.

MaxJohnsonINK responds:

That’s so cool to hear, thanks very much! I promise your shoulder is safe.

My first impression watching this was to get tense. The music works so very well to strike fear into your soul. The lighting was the perfect amount of dim to add to my horror. So far, spooked well.

It got so tense...waiting....and....waiting.

SWEET LORD! Dear god almighty, have you made a frightening beast! His demonic voice struck a chord in my soul that might never be right again. Absolutely terrifying. Good on ya!

MiddleFingerRings responds:

Glad I could a-spook ya!

I love see puppets on NG, I especially love seeing puppets used to perfection like this. The song was great and described how most of us feel about taxes. I love the green fella's little monologue at the very end describing an audit and going to prison. He's how we all really feel about the taxman. Great music video!

InsertNameEnt responds:

Thank you! We know that having live-action shorts are a bone of contention at times on Newgrounds, so it's always encouraging to hear when someone enjoys them!

Great animation as usual but the Union Jack that was flying seemed almost 3D which was cool. The whole six a bong thing was hilarious. I'm glad you animated this Wooley. Another reminded to why I love your work.

WooleyWorld responds:

Glad you liked it.

The voices sound great and I don't just mean the quality. The art style is quite unique and I like that. The "story" is a bit weird but enjoyable nevertheless.

Brewster responds:

Haha yeah if you can call it a story. Thank!

I need this music. Do you have it available anywhere? I Love character designs and how simple but lovable the animation is. Like I said it is a simple movie but I believe it is your magnum opus so far.

ProfessorSoap responds:

Hey, thanks! You can grab all of my stuff for free over at professorsoap.bandcamp.com. Enjoy!

Great writing, that clean look all your animations have is here, the music was good, and it had all the sexual charm your animations always have. Good work. The end when they were running was pretty funny but the Grandfather and the Cop arguing was pretty enjoyable to watch. I'm glad you made a sequel.

Sexual-Lobster responds:

thanks.

The music is nice. The art style looks too much like a sketch and the animation is a bit wonky. The anatomy of the characters was weird and that ending was a twist but a very weird twist.

ManimeInfinite responds:

I tried to get the japanese manga/anime art style down while honing my own style because I refuse to live as another egoraptor clone or game grumps slave. Thanks for the review though

Your voice is nice as is the quality of the audio. Your slightly animated almost comic book style is nice and fits this video. I'm definitely watching more of your stuff.

itsalexclark responds:

thanks a lot man . these are all my older videos - for my most current stuff definitely check out my youtube channel. I'm sure you'll love it - thanks for the inspiring comment.

Another long episode. Cool! I really love that theme music. Who made it? Also I must ask is the show Doug have an influence on the show? The multicolored people make me think so. The voice acting is very clean. The few seconds Horatio was investigating was really smooth and add nice shadows and motion blur. Good on ya. The Sherlock Holmes references were much appreciated. Horatio getting slapped looked slightly 3D, which is pretty crazy. The interrogation scenes needed a few more laughs in my opinion. The clue joke was much better than expected. Balgar is mentally challenged according to Horatio, is this true? I love how Horatio arrested himself. Genius! When he woke up I was like "OHH!" Well done gent, can't wait for Episode 3.

NedelchoBogdanov responds:

Thanks....the music is original for the serial

I would tell you about me but it's classified.
